"ONE OF THE UK'S MOST POPULAR CONDUCTORS" Manchester Evening News
As one former Chief Executive at the Royal Albert Hall stated, with over 250 conducting performances on the podium in the hall, there is possibly no featured artist who has appeared more often in the hall than Anthony Inglis.
He is one of the busiest and most eclectic of international conductors. Whether it is conducting a Beethoven symphony with a world-famous orchestra, conducting at a Naming Ceremony for a Cunard ship or conducting a concert attended by Royalty, his dynamic leadership stands out.
For 25 years, he was Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra and for 33 years from 1987 until 2020, Music Director/Supervisor/Consultant of Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. Since 2017 he has been Music Director of the London Concert Orchestra and since 2004 Music Director for the Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins. He is equally at home in the world of opera.
Latest recording of Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade with the National Symphony Orchestra out now.
